A British teenager went to bed with a headache, fell into a coma and woke up four days later after unknowingly giving birth to a surprise baby.
Ebony Stevenson, 18, had no idea she was pregnant, and after going to bed feeling sick on Dec. 2, 2018, she was rushed to the hospital and placed in an induced coma before waking up on Dec. 6 having had a baby girl.
Meeting my baby was so surreal. It felt like an out-of-body experience, Stevenson said. I worried I wouldnt bond with my daughter because I had no time to get my head around her arrival, but I think shes amazing. The college student who studies sports physiotherapy hadnt developed a bump, experienced no morning sickness and didnt miss her period.
She had no idea she was expecting as her unborn baby was hidden in one of two uteruses, in a condition called uterus didelphys.

What kind of name is Elodie?
They don’t know because they’re taught men can have periods.
How could she, or any one else around her, possibly not know she was pregnant? She is not obese, and the child is not tiny. Did she have the baby several months ago, and this is now being reported?
LOL!
That’s just stupid....
LOL!
Great grandma is 56. That explains a lot.
Probably not to many branches in that family tree either.
they key line
“On December 6, Ebony finally opened her eyes, and it was only then that she learnt she had two uterus’ - one of which was continuing to menstruate and the other which was growing her baby girl.”
Happened to my daughter last year. She had been gaining weight and none of us even considered pregnancy as a cause because she was on birth control.
At one point, my wife finally said, "Honey, I think you need to take a pregnancy test." She did, and sure enough, she was five months along. Turns out there was a two day gap in her birth control coverage, and that's when it happened.
There are plenty of native blacks in England. They just have different cultural roots than American blacks. Most of them trace their ancestry back to the Caribbean.
There used to be a reality show named ‘I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant’.
Dozens and dozens of real life stories.
I'm saving those photos. They make me smile.
The name Élodie is originally a French variation of the name Alodia, possibly a Visigothic name.
Why would she?
Any female who doesn’t know she’s pregnant, isn’t going to figure out who dad is.
No way you can pack a whole baby in your torso and NOT have it show somehow.
Why would you guess that?
She was clueless enough to not know she was pregnant.
I've been pregnant three times and there's NO WAY you can't know if you are in tune with your body at all.
just think “Melodie” without the “M”.
New band name...
Ute 2...
Some women have two vaginas. Not sure if they are the same women who have two uteri.
Somebody should probably explain to her how babies get in there, apparently she be ignant of that fact.
I think the size of the preborn at 5 months is a lot smaller than at 9 months.
