It occurs to me that what is going on in Venezuela now is not only an excellent lesson in socialism, but a very good display of why the 2nd Amendment is so important.

That’s a lot of snow!

It’s a gorgeous day here and the wind has been gusting, blowing big chunks of snow out of the pine trees.

We have about six inches of snow on the ground now, with animal tracks all over the place - mostly deer and squirrels.

Hubby’s going out now to finish shoveling.
