Boston . . . all their songs sounded alike

Maroon 5 is awful. I speed-listened-skimmed an hour+ of their songs before the Super Bowl. All sounded the same. All boring and with nothing that grabbed me. Just blah.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is overplayed, not overrated.
"Freebird" pales in comparison to the band's greatest hit of all time:
Tuesday's Gone
Great song filled with a lot of history and subtle meanings for the band. "Tuesday" isn't a woman after all ... it was Ronnie Van Zant's allegory for the life of a normal person that he knew would disappear when the band signed their first big record deal.

There is no accounting for taste but I believe those citing The Beatles as over rated are into being contrarian and are not very familiar with The Beatles body of work.
Millennials.

I like Eddie Money for no other reason than his interesting life story.
His real name is Edward Mahoney. He was born in New York City and was actually an NYPD recruit (he came from three generations of NYC cops) in the police academy for a while before his music career took off.

I hear you on Sinatra. The only reason Sinatra became famous is because some Mob bosses liked him.

The Beatles #1. The Beatles suck. They have always sucked. They will continue to suck forever. Hear, hear! Tripe wrapped in mediocrity wrapped in hysteria.
To: Rummyfan
I agree with 2, Green Day & Bruce Springsteen. Don’t really know Georgia Florida Line as a band.
To: shelterguy
I agree. I change the station anytime the Beatles are played.
