The left is starting to budge a little on Border negotiations, have now offered him 1.3 billion for a border barrier, and have gotten rid of their ridiculous limitation on detainees.

I'd bump them up a little for a nice down payment and then get the rest of the money elsewhere

Because, to be honest, I'm shocked they're offering him any money for a border wall.

They simply can't allow a wall, as it cuts off their future voters that they need to have a chance of remaining in power.

Trump's done an amazing job to get them this far

They know Trump will build the wall with or without them. They offer a pittance. Then when the wall is built & successful, they will claim they "gave" Trump the money & claim bipartisanship in securing the border.

My mind does not have the ability to think as a 3 D chess player...but fortunately some people on the train discuss this move....by only giving our President a small amount for the Wall...the Democrats have hung themselves for the next election. I'll see if I can explain this as it was told to me.............

Many Democrats and Independent voters voted for our President because they wanted THE WALL...now if the Dems would have give POTUS ALL he asked for....it would take the biggest reason for voting for him OFF THE TABLE. Come election... people with short memories would go back to voting DEM...so it was a VERY ignorant move for the Democrats. The Wall is still on the Table. Brilliant move for our President.
