All Dem ayes, all R nos. Will be interesting vote.
Vote (being taken now).
I find no news on this at all. I heard that it was going to be a public signing.
Jim Jordan a no. Meadows a no.
Expect all of the Freedom Caucus to vote against it. Won’t matter- a free vote.
Still, will be interesting to see the vote.
I should have said it was announced at 3:14 pm, not signed.
Thanks.
Just got notice that the bill passed the house Sent to DJT for signaturev

House passes border-security bill, sending it to Trump's desk as WH prepares to declare national emergency
Congress has enough votes to override a veto.
I certainly hope he doesn’t sign this piece of garbage.

House syncs up with Senate, approves spending bill to avert a government shutdown
The vote was 300 to 128

87 R ayes!
OMG....that would be hilarious!
I don't think you are wrong. They said it was going to be a public affair when he does sign it.
No point in not signing. They have the vote to overcome a veto THe wall will be TRUMP wall. He will get the credit.
In the primary went to adjoining counties to pass out TRUMP signs. One county had all democrat county officers. I spoke with eight people. Seven of them want a Trump sign. They wanted a wall. One long time Rat operative voted for an R first time in her life. She wanted the wall (electrified).
He will have more people behind him in 2020 for standing strong by himself against congress . It is those running in 2020 who voted “nay” who will have to justify their vote to their constituents. DJT is a winner.
If the GOP would stick together like the Dems, they would not be able to override in either house.
But he will not veto it.
He will sign it, avoid the shutdown, and then sign the NED which will override the spending directives in the bill on border security. The bill expires on 9/30/19 anyway.
The Dems will howl, but they may as well howl at the moon, legally, their howls mean nothing.
And they know it.
They are about to be embroiled in a scandal 10x the size of Watergate, and it will destroy them for 2020.
Trump obviously upset some Rs with the shutdown.
Kabuki Lot of that going around
