Oh I have had numerous NIGHTMARES that a ghost or some kind of demon/monster lived in the attic of our old grocery store which was right across the street from the house I grew up in! I have also dreamed that a man or a family moved into the attic above our neighbors’ house, which was across the street in the other direction. The monster was super scary... but the other house... neighbors’ house, the intruders had brought in a houseful of furniture including rugs and lamps. That was scary but kinda awesome. The house I lived in WAS haunted, built in 1800s, but my sister and I decided it was not a mean ghost, it never harmed us. Just seemed to watch us.
