New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Monday unveiled new details on the so-called "Green New Deal" she plans to introduce in a matter of days, as she worked behind-the-scenes to rally congressional support for the proposal that could cost as much as $7 trillion.
Ocasio-Cortez, who is set to unveil the plan with Massachusetts Democratic Sen. Ed Markey, told her fellow representatives in a letter that the Green New Deal calls for a "national, social, industrial and economic mobilization at a scale not seen since World War II."

No, the balloon bombs crossed the Pacific and a few made it to Oregon, Washington State, and perhaps Vancouver, as they had no navigation other than the wind currents.

Seriously, if aoc is looking for a WWII mobilization, she might want to back off of the wealthy and the corporate types. What the gov has been hawking in public indoctrination facilities since just after the war is that the gov pulled off the win (from the logistics side). In actuality it was the ability, capability, and capacity provided by industry. William Knudsen (Big Bill), from the auto industry, and Henry Kaiser (admittedly a ‘new deal’ guy) from the construction and ship building industry, that were most instrumental in pulling off the logistic victory.

I’m sure she is very aware when it was fought. She grew up hearing the stories of how President Roosevelt ordered Union forces to attack Confederate forces after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
Her family proudly displays a Nazi flag that was captured during the German assault at Gettysburg.
