Even allowing for the possibility of exaggeration, or of hopes that may be dashed, this is an exciting announcement, via Maayan Jaffe-Hoffman of the Jerusalem Post:
A small team of Israeli scientists think they might have found the first complete cure for cancer.
“We believe we will offer in a year’s time a complete cure for cancer,” said Dan Aridor, of a new treatment being developed by his company, Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd. (AEBi), which was founded in 2000 in the ITEK incubator in the Weizmann Science Park. AEBi developed the SoAP platform, which provides functional leads to very difficult targets.
“Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market,” Aridor said. “Our solution will be both generic and personal.”
It sounds fantastical, especially considering that an estimated 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed worldwide each year, according to reports by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Further, every sixth death in the world is due to cancer, making it the second leading cause of death (second only to cardiovascular disease).
Aridor, chairman of the board of AEBi and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad, say their treatment, which they call MuTaTo (multi-target toxin) is essentially on the scale of a cancer antibiotic – a disruption technology of the highest order.

Remember Spain translates more books from “whatever” to Spanish in one year then the entire Islamic world does in 10! (The original quote was ‘the entire Islamic world ever has”. I question how they arrived at that. I think probably Spain more then one year then the Islamic world does in a whole bunch! So I picked 10!)
Name Nobel prizes from Islamic researchers, working in Islamic research centers in Islamic countries!
Lets see how many we can name?
How long before he and his research, vanish? $$$$$$$$$$
RE: Name Nobel prizes from Islamic researchers, working in Islamic research centers in Islamic countries!
Lets see how many we can name?
That’s a very stringent requirement you have there. I can list several Muslim Nobel Prize winners (Physics and Chemistry), but all of them worked in WESTERN research centers.
Didn’t pre-Islamists invent Zer0?
Why announce it to the world? Now the lives of the team are in jeopardy.
Is that 10 or ten factorial?
sorry meant 10 years
I purposely did it that way!
Like you I can name several to.
However if they’re working in a Western center, they’ve adopted western values whether they see it or not. In an Islamic etc. they are constrained by religion, culture, practice & law. That makes a world of difference!
Jews cure cancer.
Muslims rape and murder innocent people.
Democrats hate Jews and love Muslis.
There are so many types of cancer. I don’t see how a single treatment could cure them all?
They learned it from Indians and then beat them to the copyright office.
That was my first thought. In the next year let’s see how many have heart attacks commit suicide or die in car accidents.
Actually, now that you mention it, I did hear it that way.
Is stealing nothing a crime?
Put me down on the pool for next Tuesday at 3:34 pm PST.
10 years at least for our filthy government to approve it...for clinical trials.
We believe we will offer in a years time a complete cure for cancer,
Shhhh...Ginsburg.
You may have missed my point.
My point is outside learning, etc doesn’t interest them. (Example Spain translates more non-Spanish material in one year then then the Islamic world does in a long time! I think my original source claimed since their beginning. I don’t know how one would get figures for the 6th century. So lets just say for a long time. Without oil the Islamic world would have the production of Finland. Nothing wrong with Finland but they are a population of 5.5 million the Islamic world is what at least a billion!
