What about George W. Bush? He started a “good” war in Afghanistan, then failed to win it.
But wait. It gets worse. While the Afghan war was still raging, W decide to open a second front by invading Iraq. So much misery, so much blood spilled, and so much treasure lost.
And for what? Unless we continue to pour in more money and blood, both Afghanistan and Iraq will end as Vietnam did: helicopters taking off from the US embassy.

Great list. I might leave Jimmuh Cahtuh off it because stupid and feckless is not the same as openly evil. We’ve had plenty of the latter. Saul Alinsky. Howard Zinn. Cornel West. Angela Davis. It’s a long, long list.
My conclusion is that our narcissistic and indulgent culture has exchanged God's gifts for intoxication and sexual perversion, pretending we're in control and there are no consequences for our actions, and have no need of God.
If we want change its time to pray and repent, because we're not going to elect our way out of this mess.
