It makes me smile to think of the things he directed and I enjoyed so much. R.I.P. indeed.
Odd that Wikipedia does not mention William Frawley having any children.
They ain’t 100% all the time..................
You beat me to it...all bios of William Frawley indicate he got divorced in 1927 and never remarried; no mention of kids.
William Frawley - I always think of Miracle on 34th Street.
Either he, or someone else, possibly embellished his life. It appears he may not have been William Frawley’s son

He got WOKE in ‘27 ...
The original MGTOW?
As I age, semi-gracefully, into the vicinity of Statler and Waldorf, I remember the Muppet Show and its creators and performers. A true family show that entertained kids and adults alike, without calumny nor foulness. God Bless Mr Frawley and Jim Henson and all of those involved.
I still regard it as an undeniable irony that Mr Henson passed on the same day as Sammy Davis Jr. (16 May 1990). While both were estimable, I rank Jim Henson higher on the basis of his bringing a new form of the puppetry art-form to the modern era. Had these two passed on separate days, then both could have had a larger appreciation that was due them.
RIP
Didn’t care for the Monkees, though Mike Nesmith made some pretty good music after the Monkees broke up.
The Muppet Show, however, is an all-time classic. Hilarious, safe for the kids, with the occasional bit of sly innuendo that went by the kids and made the adults laugh.
RIP.
I don’t know why they don’r re-run the Muppet Shows, like on Saturday mornings. They would be better that what’s on today....................
I enjoyed both. Didn’t get to see a lot of The Monkees because the station it was on was fuzzy and weak........
He directed “The Big Bus”, a disaster spoof with lines like:
Dan: You eat one lousy foot and they call you a cannibal. What a world!
Dan: Look, Bendix made a stew. I had no idea there was a foot in it.

The Big Bus sounds like a pre-cursor to “Airplane!”..................Gotta see it sometime!..............
