Patriots won the toss... and then took it in for a TD.
Tom Brady’s unique record: TD passes to 71 players
“So yes, it is effectively decided by a coin toss if BOTH teams aren’t allowed at least ONE possession...”
What if both teams score a touchdown?
The game could theoretically go on forever, as it almost did with a high school game once in New Orleans. There has to be a cutoff.
The Pats are the ONLY thing I like about New England.
Go Brady.
:: “patriots in the super bowl again? yawn.”
Funny aint it? Yet, Big D, the ‘Boyz, are still AMERICA’s TEAM for putting together a few Super Bowl appearances and a couple of wins...connected through time but not strung together. Too bad it happened in the era of the SJW. History will not treat the Patriots kindly in the senescence of what is The NFL.
Bendy, The Boyz will always have those Landry years as AT&T will become the home of a bunch of sissy futbal games. Kapernick killed the NFL.
I could not care less about this or any other NFL game.
JoMa
The Cowboys didn’t bestow “America’s Team” on themselves. It came for a narrator in an NFL Films production. However, at the time, NFL merchandising reported that the Cowboys sold more jerseys, flags, blankets, etc, than the rest of the league combined. That is not likely to be the case anymore, but I don’t know.
I didn’t mean the team, sorry! I saw photos of some signs at bars and restaurants and even a church
That looks accurate to me!
Dear Andy Reid: why in blazes do you call nothing but 2 deep zone on third and long. Putting your safeties 15 to 20 off the line is basically begging Brady to complete for 12 and move the freaking chains. Once again, you’re just not that damn good a coach.
So I may watch, hoping to see Brady and Bellichick fail more than anything. But at this point, I care so little I may skip it,

You’ll watch it. :-)
.
Yes, I noticed the egregious pass interference that didn’t get called. The roughing was almost a makeup call for that.
Belichick took a big chance in picking Brady over Bledsoe, especially after Bledsoe came on in the AFC Championship game when Brady got hurt.
With 9 SB appearances he could have gone 0fer and still be considered the greatest. Weak division only gives the team 5 wins, to get that bye (especially home field throughout) you generally need to be looking at 13. Those other 8 wins out of 10 games aren’t coming from the soft division.

Tom Brady just quietly approached a security guard waiting outside the Chiefs locker room and asked if he could see Patrick Mahomes. Brady was escorted into a room where he spoke briefly with him. A very clear display of respect from one incredible quarterback to another.

LOL
Na, I’ve long ago ceased getting emotional over sports.
But, that “roughing the passer” call might be the most laughable and brazenly bad call I’ve seen in 50 years of watching football.
But, the Pats earned the win. The drive in OT was a thing of beauty.
Jim Kelly presided over the Bills when the AFC was ridiculously weak, as it is now, and when QBs were subjected to actual hits and beatings and had to retire before they were 45, unlike now. So he didn't get to 9 super bowls, only five. He went 0fer and is not considered the greatest QB of his generation, much less all time.
Brady has thrived in a terribly weak AFC, in the weakest division in all of football in fact. He's spotted 5 wins minumum and has to go 6 out of 10 in his remaining games to be virtually guaranteed a bye and probably home field because the AFC is and has been weak for years and years now. He and his team actively engaged in cheating, getting caught more than once even if you ignore the inflation one. With all that, he and his coach dominated, no doubt. You may say that's good enough for you to make him GOAT and know that your opinion will be aligned with what history records. I'll always have a different sense of it. I won't say he's bad, no he's great. But he's also been a situation that has been stacked in his favor almost his whole career.
Just my $0.02, feel free to ignore me.
Just curious, how many NFL QBs are out there over 45 years old?
Might help if you actually block receivers within 5 yards instead of giving them a 10 yard buffer for Brady to pick apart.
Do they have LB’s in KC?
