They are already limiting the sections of Autobahn that have unlimited speeds. A lot of areas that were unlimited 10 years ago are down to 130 kph.
And in areas that are still unlimited, it is difficult to wind it up. East Germans in old Trabants and SEATs won’t get out of your way anymore.
But you still have to look in your rearview mirror. You never know when a big Mercedes or Porsche will sneak up on you at 300 kph.

I had to remind my ex speed limits in Canada are posted in kph not mph.
You can easily exceed the 100 kph limit on freeways if you’re not careful.
Set the speed limit to 55 mph. and let’s see what real Germans think about global warming.
