P&G Challenges Men to Shave Their Toxic Masculinity in Gillette Ad
Spot pegged to #MeToo asks Is this the best a man can get?
Gillette is embracing the #MeToo movement in a new digital ad campaign aimed at men, the latest message from an advertiser attempting to change societal norms.
The ad, dubbed We Believe, opens with audio of news about the current #MeToo movement, bullying and toxic masculinity. A narrator then goes on to dispute the notion that boys will be boys, asking, Is this the best a man can get? Is it? We cant hide from it. It has been going on far too long. We cant laugh it off, making the same old excuses.

They’re definitely shaving the profits off their bottom line with this....

Gillette ad from exactly 30 years ago to wash your eyes out without having to use bleach.
Bye bye Gillette.
Bye bye.
Thanks I heard Dennis Prager taking about this, and how his family is swearing off Gillette forever. Its really so stupid. Dont these lefties care about the yin and yang of masculinity and femininity? Everyone else gets it. What a joke; everything lefties touch becomes a lesson in Perfect Ignorant Hypocrisy.
For proggies and new-wave feminists masculinity is inherently toxic.
I switched to Schick almost a decade ago and never looked back.
I’m more likely to think of “toxic masculinity” when my sons don’t brush their teeth for a whole weekend.
The inevitable result of corporate boardrooms that prioritize diversity over merit. They wind up with people who don’t know the first thing about selling razors to men. Instead, they embark on this SJW nonsense that sells not a single razor and makes it easy for men like me (and my soon to be shaving sons) to grab the cheaper generic brand.
The left would berate that ad today, it shows too many white men and it’s too masculine for them because apparently being white and masculine is toxic now.
I guess it’s no longer the best a man can get.
This isn’t why I use a straight razor, but it gives me another reason to be glad I do.
Toxic feminism is far more harmful than a man’s beard.
I left the idiotic multi-blade, disposable shave community a long time ago. I went back to these:
Safety razors are a better, cheaper solution (you can buy a lifetime supply of Feather blades for about $20). Safety razors are also much better for your skin.
It's amazing that men were marketed away from these by BS about multi-blades and so-called "convenience".
Great blades at a great price. The 6 blades are awesome and if you don’t need any this month, they send you an email giving you the option of skipping a month.
Better link?

I would happily have jumped onto the boycott bandwagon, but I haven’t used Gillette products for decades. Crappy, and overpriced junk.
I hope this stunt will bankrupt those lefties, and soon.
