The 600,000 New Yorkers who don’t have any type of health coverage will be getting access to medical care under a program being announced Tuesday by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Previewing the plan on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program, the mayor said it would cost about $100 million at full scale and ensure that all residents — including illegal immigrants — can see a doctor when they need to.

This is SICKENING. Not only will this vile corrupt economy-sized dump refuse to cooperate with ICE to have the illegal criminal invaders removed from our midst, before they kill, rape, or rob us, now he wants US to pay for their health care!!! Why on earth should the people of NYC have to pay for the health care of all the irresponsible bums who drug themselves into oblivion and so can't hold a job and have health insurance, AND those gimme-gimme-gimme rapacious parasites who don't even belong here in the first place? The man is way past insane, as are the libtard morons who have voted him in for mayor not once, but TWICE.

$100 million?
Let’s make DeBlasion bet his life on the figure.
And hold him to it.
Please, oh please.
Each and every day progressives prove my dictum that math is most seriously NOT their friend.

Affirmative action doctors is what they deserve.

After a while they’ll figure out they’re safer staying away from the entire government medical complex.

It’s going to be funny when some NYC court agrees with plaintiffs who claim that access to free porn is a required health care benefit.

The program is only for people who reside in New York City?

Isn’t that kind of racist?

Shouldn’t they provide healthcare for EVERYONE who wants it?

Maybe he means $100 million a month, or $100 million a week.

Sounds great! Let’s give them lollipops when they go home too.

Of course, there’s no mention of HOW they’ll pay for this. What they’ll do when people start moving to Hoboken and Jersey City or further west and telecommute. Or when more losers move to NYC just for the health care.

What a bunch of idiots. How long before Cortez endorses this?

That works out to $167 per year, per person covered. Wow! De Blasio sure can do things on the cheap.

All those doctors working for free.

Free scalpels and free medicines.

Janitors working for free.

What a wonderful world.

For $167 that’s one urgent care visit, or prescription fill. What about eye care, dentist visits, UTI, bronchitis, flu shots, tetnus, infections etc.?

If media isn’t asking the same they are complicit liars also.

[Or when more losers move to NYC just for the health care.]

People who can’t afford health insurance definitely can’t afford NYC rents. And waiting lists for indigent housing are many years long, cleared only by the expiration of existing housing clients. I do expect NYC taxes to tick up some, though. At a premium cost of $300 per person per month, coverage for 600K people should come to $2.2b per year, or about 22x de Blasio’s estimate. It’s only about 2.5% of NYC’s $89b budget, but it has to come from somewhere.

Exactly. $100 million comes to about $300.00 per person they want to cover. $300.00 per person is a joke.
