Deport gang bangers and those with criminal records. Find them first. As for 'Dreamers'-Give them a MATH test. If they can't finish in the top 50% of their class send them home WITH their parents to try again until they 'get it'. Make it 5 years. We need the smart ones-all of them. I call it compromise. No citizenship for voting. Most of them don't care about politics like their Democrat 'leaders' think. Can't wait for the Trumpster to spell it out for everyone to see. Hispanics will agree.

Agree that climate change is a national emergency? seems like a bad idea to agree to something you don’t agree to on an ideological level, let alone a policy level, but okay. You’re doing it to get funding for it, but then you’re not going to fund it, you’re going to divert it to build a wall?
How is that any different than diverting any other funding that will probably get challenged constitutionally by democrats and probably stopped by activist judges?
Also, I’m all for educational standards, for immigrants as well as citizens, but be careful about basing acceptance/admittance to citizenship on standards, particularly anything other than what you would hold any other legal immigrant up to. I think it opens to the door for activists to change policy. Say the next administration is democrat. They might only need to alter the standards to include a political litmus test.

We do not need them!! Smart or not! Illegal is illegal. Why should they get a pass for being “smart”?
In case you didn’t know Trump has to throw them a bone. Hard workers should have a place here. If they can stay but are not allowed to vote(citizenship) that would be a compromise. Democrats won’t buy it until TSA agents scream for their paychecks. Furloughed workers won’t complain about a paid vacation.
My preference would be MASS ROUNDUPS in the obvious places, but only in CITIES/STATES which protect Illegals (i.e., Sanctuary). Get them in farm fields, construction sites, and food joints. After that, than not sure.
Well past time for a Chinese-style “social score” on FR, IMO.
