Probably because I’ve only just started my first cup of coffee. Help me out.
Agree that climate change is a national emergency? seems like a bad idea to agree to something you don’t agree to on an ideological level, let alone a policy level, but okay. You’re doing it to get funding for it, but then you’re not going to fund it, you’re going to divert it to build a wall?
How is that any different than diverting any other funding that will probably get challenged constitutionally by democrats and probably stopped by activist judges?
Also, I’m all for educational standards, for immigrants as well as citizens, but be careful about basing acceptance/admittance to citizenship on standards, particularly anything other than what you would hold any other legal immigrant up to. I think it opens to the door for activists to change policy. Say the next administration is democrat. They might only need to alter the standards to include a political litmus test.
