An Arlington baby broke hospital records, weighing nearly 15 pounds at birth. Baby boy Ali is a gift the Medlock family once thought theyd never receive. Now, Ali is nearly twice the size of an average newborn, weighing 14 pounds 13 ounces. He broke the record at Arlington Memorial Hospital. Ali was born via C-section. Jennifer said she had a very healthy pregnancy; however, Ali did spend a week in the NICU because his blood sugar and platelettes were low. It doesnt matter how big he is, Im so blessed, said Jennifer. Ali was a blessing in many ways for the Medlocks. Jennifer has severe polycystic ovarian syndrome.Doctors told them having a family would be a long shot. We tried anyway and prayed, she said.

Not likely-childbirth is much more difficult for an obese woman-they are going to be laid up for days even without a C section. Women who are physically fit, active and at an appropriate weight bounce back fast-”here, Randy-hold the kid-I got laundry to do”...
Did that this year!
Heard that they shaved his mustache off for the baby pictures, but it was right back the next day.
“And Texas and Texas A&M football coaches are already falling over each other trying to get the baby to commit.”
They better get the coaches over there ASAP before he weighs 600 pounds.
Just imagine changing the diaper.
“Jennifer, what the heck have you been feeding this kid?”
Ali.
Isn’t that special.
Nothing like being dhimmi a birth.
My hospital roommate gave birth to a 10-pound baby (via C-section).
Still remember when they wheeled her baby into the room.
Her newborn looked so big next to my 7-pound baby.
If she didn’t get a C-Section, the husband is going to have to tie a board across his ass to keep from falling in.
I am a Father of 5, grandfather of 13....I did my part..
Future siblings were regular deliveries of 6-11, 8-1 and 9-7.
Maybe they think the little guy is going to be a future boxer, or maybe the dad is a fan. Better than Mohammed.
Alis not the first big baby born to the Medlocks. His 2-year-old sister, Annabelle, was 9 pounds, 10 ounces at birth......
.....Annabelle was born through the help of fertility treatments.
Ali is named after Jennifers fathers middle name, Medlock said.
