Well, for New Year’s Day, my locale expects to see plenty of snow on the ground (from an overnight snowfall) and it will be in the 20’s and 30’s (my courtesy to ones who use Fahrenheit as opposed to Celsius). Looks like it is shaping up for a decent morning snowshoe up in the Gatineau Hills.

Wait! . . . On Sunday (right now it is Sunday at 8:38am) “temperatures ranged.” What??? Is this what exegetes call the “prophetic perfect tense?”

I would like to see the Rose Parade in person sometime. If it’s in the 40’s and sunny, seems like that would be tolerable. I mean, what do they think people at FB stadiums do to survive?

As far as I’m concerned, football in the winter should require sub freezing temps and lots of snow........and open fields, not indoors under domes.

I lived in Southern Cal a few times, Orange County and San Diego - they get out the parkas if the temps go below 60 degrees.

Ironically, the first Roses Parade took place in 1890 and was staged by people who were originally from the Northeast and Midwest who wanted to show off how great the weather was in Southern California during the winter time..... so great that they could grow roses and oranges in January and February.
I guess there was more global warming back then..... Must be the climate change LOL.

Seriously one of the colder NY days I have experienced in SoCal. It will still be in the 60s in the afternoon but just a couple hours.
