Hi CB. It wasn’t just carrot juice, it was other juices too, but both my mom and Jobs had cancers that weren’t fast growing and could have been removed easily. Jobs chose alternative medicine for 9 months before finally getting surgery when he found it wasn’t working, but by that time it had spread. My mother refused treatment even after she discovered the treatment didn’t work.
Alternative medicine shouldn’t be alternative, but it can help in conjunction with standard treatment. But that is the patient’s choice.

She was told, before I was even born, that if they open you up the air makes cancer spread. She always believed crazy stuff. Then she believed any radioactive treatment would kill you, and that it was contagious. My dad had radioactive treatment once, and she told him he couldn’t go home from the hospital. I told him he could stay with me, but he wanted me to take him home. She wouldn’t even speak to me or him. After awhile, I asked him if he was going to be ok or if he wanted to go home with me, but he stayed and I kept checking on him. She didn’t speak to us for a long time.
My mother was not mentally stable, and could be very mean.
