Don’t need a fence if nothing is given to illegal’s who enter our country. Nothing. But of course liberals will demand this and that; ever notice there are no liberal charity organizations?

Would like to see a field test. There is a video posted on the internet of a tall bollard design that looked impressive, but then showed illegals climbing up it with ease, much like climbing a palm tree.

Would be much more impressed with a cut off welfare design and an aggressively enforced e-verify design.
WHY is he not pursuing those things?

I think bad guys can shoot border agents through it, and that an activist will deliberately impale a child on it, making sure all the networks are notified.

Trump has always said he likes the idea of seeing through the wall. I like concept of a force field wall that stuns and knocks a person unconscious that tries to penetrate it. No physical wall -- lasers. Probably not ready for that yet.
The stuff they are doing now with lasers -- it's incredible.

East Germany and North Korea had/have pretty damn effective walls to keep people in.all we have to do is point the machine guns in the opposite direction.
For that matter Mark Zuckerberg has a pretty effective wall surrounding his $500 million estate.
Walls *do* work!

What do you think of the Bollard Fence Design (steel slat picket-fence)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The only additional aspect would be to have the ability to throw a switch and electrify selected sections when necessary, 220 volts. If the whole wall was like that we would be able to really make a difference without waiting for hundreds of soldiers or officers to support a mass attempt on the wall.
The wall should have the option to turn itself into a huge zapper.

Any fence can be defeated. Their primary purpose is to intimidate the faint hearted and slow down the more determined. But this fence, augmented with drone surveillance and Quick Reaction Teams, would do the job for the pittance money being discussed in Congress.

Easily breached for personnel entry by either cutting or winching slats apart. Also hard to detect a breach. Cut slats simply put back in place to conceal any entry location. Climbers know exactly what's on the other side. Plain steel is high maintenance - needs periodic re-coating. Relatively inexpensive, recyclable.
The Israeli design below, is much harder to breach. Not easy to cut or to winch apart. Must go over or under, or blow a hole in a section. Harder to conceal entry points. Climbers don't know what lies on the other side (large drop, sharp objects/brush) until they've reached the top. Low maintenance. Expensive, not very recyclable.

reminds me of a much taller version of apartment fencing - kitty friendly. Or in this case, lizard, turtle, rattler and rabbit friendly. And the birds can fly over it! Libtards should love that. They were very worried about the birds
with sensors, drones and manned stations every x miles, it should work as an effective deterrent/early warning system

........ Well ..... As long as the Flat Plate at the top remains in the design, I think it will be very difficult to scale. Without it though a person could scale the wall with a set of pole climbing equipment. ...... In the picture bellow, It appears that a skinny person could slip through the spaces between the slats. Of course this is more than likely an optical illusion. Especially since even US Special Forces commandos were unable to overcome the prototype design during testing

I would climb one side (ladder) and hammer wood down on a few spikes. Rope the wood and go down the other side. Would that work?
