You understand right about the line strikes. About where they are on a stamp, they don’t put it through the image because stamp collectors (who buy a lot of stamps) don’t like it. After that they have the Forever and the USA, and I’m sure the many veterans in the USPS wouldn’t want THAT struck out. As for the Forever, what it means in the Postal world is never having to know which 1st class stamps are current and which need a couple of cents.

Yes, and agree the generosity of the Mexican president has been influenced by the great deal-maker, Trump. A deal may have included the proverbial Horse’s Head approach.

Nevertheless, I’m grateful for their cooperation. It takes two to make a deal and the monetary value of the Mexican side investment is duly noted. Reportedly, Mexico does not have extra money lying around, but they have a way of showing up for the job, lately, and this is a good for all concerned.

The John Gibson show on MSNBC back then with chat room moderated by “MK Flynn” (I believe was her name) was great. I used to go by moniker “Sire” so then she’d respond, “yes, Sire” LOL.
