Donald Trump called for courts to test NBC and Saturday Night Live in a fiery tweet on Sunday that followed the final airing of the sketch show until the New Year.
SNL wrapped up a year of political humor directed at the Trump administration with a parody of the Christmas movie Its a Wonderful Life, in which it posited a world wherein Donald Trump, played by Alec Baldwin, was never elected president of the United States.
The sketch, which featured returning guest stars Ben Stiller as Michael Cohen, Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller and Matt Damon as Brett Kavanaugh, showed Trump being led through a Christmas party in a world where Hillary Clinton became president. As each person from his administration approaches, Trump learns that him not being president worked out for the benefit of everyone. For example, the sketch suggested that he and Melania got a divorce and remarried others, Kavanaugh never made it onto the Supreme Court and Mueller was able to spend more time with his kids instead of having to investigate some idiot for treason.
Trump responded to the sketch on Sunday morning by jabbing both the sketch show and NBC.

Go to Court, test the legality, convict them.
I would like to see the FCC explore the possibility of RICO. Money is behind everything, and the vast, interlocking media empires are all funded for a single purpose — and that purpose is not the betterment of the USA. I say Russia, China, the Arabs, and dark money from Soros and friends are all more important to the media than any advertising for soap, or beer, or cars.
During electoral season start treating liberal MSM activities as unreported “campaign contributions”....
Don’t let the bastards get you down, Mr. President.
Exactly.
How can what the enemedia does day after day NOT be considered free advertising and campaign contributions?
The joke is on anyone thinking that the human filth that is Clinton could be better than anyone.
Hillary had over $2 Billion in free advertising and they cry over $5,000 in Facebook ads nobody saw.
I really wish Trump would somehow learn how to ignore some of this stuff. These evil people love to see that it gets under his skin. He needs to ignore them.
I have not watched SNL in a long time and will not watch SNL in the future.
BTTT.
Illigitimi non carabundum.
actualy wonder if the show and network could be gone after for campaign finance violations...free advertising during an election
No, this evil stuff has been going on, and Republican after Republican have been ridiculed and slandered by the media, sometimes destroyed, and know-nothing leftists elected because of them. For example, we lost Viet Nam because of them. People have died because of their ugly partisanship and their treasonous lies. All of the people the press attacked decided to be well mannered and above it, and all that has happened is that is gotten uglier and even more partisan. I think that the President, and every Republican public figure, should attack these people for what they have done and what they are doing, and if there are any legal remedies they should take advantage of them. I am sick of these weak supine Republicans who don’t fight back, whether it is the lying media, democrat vote fraud, and everything else. The Republicans we elected have done us no favor by allowing the media to lie, slander, and misrepresent. Rising above all of this has gotten our country in this terrible situation. I hope that in the future, every congress critter and others will follow President Trump’s example and FIGHT BACK!!!!!!!
good post
There’s a thousand possibilities, but still the best, and surest way, is for America to turn off the tube when SNL is on. Advertising is their life-blood, and losing it will take them down quicker than any “court” can...especially with the leftover cabal of “obama judges” circulating out there.
I love the way Trump fights back and calls them out on their dishonesty. Bush was so pathetic it made me sick. I just wish that he would ignore some of it. I think that would make the libs less inclined, but who knows. They are a nasty bunch.
by now, there should be no-one but Hillary’s mob watching any of the FakeNewsMSM outlets.
Good point! He should save his tweets for the big stuff.
The President is exactly right and it needs to be said. The media make in kind campaign contributions to rats every hour of every day. There should be consequences.
Damm the torpedoes, full steam ahead.
Same here. I don't really like getting beat in the head every Saturday night.
My better half and I got a couple of fedoras and black suits and sunglasses and went as the Blues Brothers for a Halloween party back in the day.
