Far-right activist Gavin McInnes has been kicked off YouTube, the latest social media platform to cut ties with him or his group, the Proud Boys.
The Daily Beast reported Monday that YouTube has banned McGinnes, who had more than 220,000 subscribers before the ban.
A statement on McInnes's YouTube page says that the channel has been terminated after “multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement.”
"When a copyright holder notifies us of a video that infringes on their copyright, we act quickly to remove content as is required of us by law," a YouTube spokesperson told The Hill. "We terminate the accounts of repeat offenders."

I watched it, and I’ve followed him on CRTV for a while (CRTC now defunct, my subscription went to BlazeTV a couple of days ago).
He’s really not an anti-semite, but he does nearly always take a contrarian view. So when he was on the sponsored Israel trip (which he has since spoken of glowingly on his Get Off My Lawn show), he resented the perceived anti-American view by his tour guide at the Holocaust Museum exhibit in Israel. The tour guide mentioned nobody came to the aid of the Jews in camps during the war, it was only afterwards (almost entirely true) but Gavin saw that as a slight to the Allies, who are responsible for overthrowing the Nazis to begin with.
Being anti-semitic would go against the Proud Boy ethic, not to mention his frequent declarations of support for Israel, etc.
On the other hand he must realize that one of his rituals of indoctrination into the Proud Boys included getting a tattoo, something that would be abhorrent to Torah-keepers.
So as of a couple of weeks ago he has renounced his Proud Boys membership (a very informal organization anyway), saying it is not important to him — it’s more important to help with the defense of nine members that were arrested in the recent dust-up with antifa at a Manhattan Republican Club appearance.
He’s a former rabble-rouser (no longer wants to be arrested) who has matured and become a family man. He’s more Libertarian than conservative.
In my view the Proud Boys are a positive development, though I think the true, original Proud Boys are Veterans, who put their patriotic duty first, with real skin in the game.
For the love of Christ, that claim came from a vandalized Wikipedia page.
