There are two different types of transgenders: Mit swanze stucker und eier; und ohne swanze stucker un eier. We have to consider them separately.
To: SMGFan
No different than anyone else doping

Steroids are illegal unless you’re transgender.

So, this person who was born as a woman is able to take hormones to improve her strength, and then enter a super featherweight boxing competition. Seems fair.
Is her male competitor allowed to take muscle-boosting hormones as well?

She’s still a female, mutilated and pumped full of hormones.

That dudes gonna kill himself from the shame. Depends on what he got paid. To go down. On her.
To: SMGFan
Aren’t hormone injections supposed to be illegal in sports?

Can a straight male boxer use testosterone?
If not, could a straight male boxer declare himself a transgender and begin testosterone supplements?

Why don't we just get it over with and make all sports co-ed.
I'm only half tongue-in-cheek here.
If women are good enough at basketball to join the NBA, let them. If they are good enough at baseball to make the major leagues, let them.
Of course, this negates any need for "women's leagues" of any sport. I mean if a man can put on a dress and join them, what purpose does a "women's league" serve? And vice versa.
Just co-mingle the sexes in every sport and whoever is the best makes the team, regardless of gender.

Started out as an Olympic hopeful female boxer. Add a bunch of testosterone and steroids, and heck, he might even win a featherweight title.

You are missing the irony. Reverse the genders in your argument and you have it.

His mother said she knew from an early age that Manuel, born Patricia, was different from other girls her age. His grandmother was the one who pushed him into boxing in high school, gifting him with a boxing club membership at Christmas to help him lose weight (Pictured.
