The eight teams and cities launching in February 2020 are:
New York, MetLife/Meadowland Stadium, New Jersey Dallas-Ft. Worth, Globe Life Park, Arlington Houston, TDECU Stadium, Houston Los Angeles, StubHub Center, Carson City St. Louis, America Center, St. Louis Seattle, Century Link Field, Seattle Tampa Bay, Raymond James, Stadium, Tampa Bay Washington DC. Audi Field
Going for big-time markets and (mostly) big-time stadiums.
Leaving the Birminghams and Memphises to that other startup league.
Trump’s idea would have worked too had it not been for class warfare jurors in New York.
Trump prevailed on the merits of the case, but the jury only awarded him one dollar damages (which was tripled per the law).
A juror who was interviewed later explained that “we just didn’t think that Donald Trump needed any more money.”
Get accused of a serious crime and your fate is in the hands of....THAT!
If it’s not PC, might be worth a watch. But, personally, I’m waiting for the LFL season to start in April -

Are these to be televised on anything?
I am all for it!
IIRC we got a couple of good NFL players from the prior XFL.
“Theres already way too much football on TV between college and the NFL.”

Too much left wing agit-prop football, you mean.
They’ve already drummed up about a thimble’s full of interest.
CBS and an app.
Will Big Beer sponsor both NFL and XFL?
Problem is that Halifax doesn't have a facility ready to go for that.
A CFL field is actually bigger than an American football field.
The grandstand at Halifax's Huskies stadium was torn down years ago.
If done right. This could be really cool and viable.
Start with No FELONS...
maybe:
eliminate the point after kick?
eliminate 4th down punt? (would make for a lot more excitement on 4th downs, and a lot more creativity)
maybe different scoring for run vs thrown downs?

Where did you find that info? Did I miss it on the site? I’m happy to see new leagues form, especially ones where the coaches/players are not paid bazillions of dollars.
What ever happened to the Lingerie League?
Geez, why not just take kicking out of the game entirely. It’s call FOOTball for a reason.
It's called the Legends Football League.
Lousy football but the audience doesn't watch it for that.

Sometimes lousy, but some of the players/plays are also actually pretty good. These women play serious and they got team spirit, e.g. protecting the QB:

Nevermind - found the info on CBS, thanx.
