I was stuck on a flight to Miami and the airplane never left the runway after pulling away from the gate. Those airline meals start tasting delicious after a few months....
A 10-hour flight is long enough in an airplane seat to get my spine screaming at me for relief. It’s still aching from a flight that landed on Friday evening.
I can’t imagine what Mr. Cook must have felt.

Great read, thanks. It brought back some memories because around that same time Chuck Banfe the father of a class mate of mine was making a solo flight around the world and we were all tracking his hops and listening for reports on our little am radios.
