They were both horrible losers. Perot was even worse than Bush. For that reason I voted for Bush, and would do so again—with great regret.

Perot would have never run if Bush hadn’t turned out to be a flop.

In 1992 I was already convinced that Perot was in it to help Clinton (or rather the Democrat) get elected. People may not recall this but he got out of the race at one point citing that the Democrats had got their act together but got back in when he figured they were falling apart and those were the things he said to explain himself. I viewed Perot with deep suspicion. I could NEVER have voted for Perot as a consequence.

People say it was because Perot hated Bush but I suspect that he may have done the same for most Republicans of the time. He was in it to elect the Democrat.

I voted for Perot. What I ended up with was Clinton.
After that I vowed to never vote for a third party candidate for the rest of my life.

To answer my own question, I voted for Bush but today I’d vote for Perot. NAFTA was a killer (I know Clinton signed it but the baton was handed to him by Bush & fellow globalists).

I voted for Perot, and would probably do so again. Especially if it might help the GOP to get a clue about choosing candidates. They only put up Reagan 8 years earlier because they had to.

I had a coworker who was strongly for Clinton and another coworker who was strongly for Perot.

I talked to both of them to find out their reasons for strongly supporting these two candidates.

My coworker who supported Clinton wanted free stuff from the government.

My coworker who supported Perot had no reason why he supported Perot.

Perot.

Don't forget his running mate, though: James Bond Stockdale...a warrior / philosopher who was one of America's greatest heroes.

Now that's a Beat Army ticket.

Ross "I'm in. No, I'm out, No, I'm back in again." Perot? He was a flake. And Billy Jeff is a crook and a rapist and a communist. And that leaves us with George NWO Bush.

I chose Bush. I won't attempt to second-guess myself.

I would have voted for Perot if the election in 1992 had been held on July 1st. He dropped out of the race in mid-July, and when he re-entered the race on October 1st I figured he was just a fraud from top to bottom.

If you forced me to pick a candidate right now I would probably vote for GHWB again today -- with no illusions about what I was getting. More likely, I would have written in a silly name like "Ronald McDonald" ... or even something more outlandish like "Donald Trump." :-)

CNN was where Perot was hatched.
These is where the LEFT discovered they could manipulate elections based entirely on News Coverage.

Same person I voted for, and campaigned for, then - Ross Perot.

He was spectacularly right about NAFTA while the whole political establishment was lying to us.

Amazing that it’s taken a quarter century for him to be vindicated.

'76 voted for Anderson over Ford.
'80 and '84 - Reagan
'88 H.W. Bush (liked Ron Paul but the thought of Dukakis...)
'92 Perot (we don't get do-overs)
'96 Dole - only because of Jack Kemp
