What kills me is if Fox News had shown a similar photo of 0bama at the 2016 Christmas Tree event, it would probably be top of the fold, quarter page screaming headlines in the New York Crimes, the Washington Compost and a few other major metropolitan fishwraps. Not to mention the endless days of followup reports on the fate of the reporter.

Well, Tom Roussey came in early in the Scott Adams 24 hour time period for explanation. It reads humble enough. Should he be given a pass?

If you ask my opinion, and I’m pretty cynical, it reads sincere. As he’s local media and not the deranged national media, if his record backs up his statement I’d give him a pass.
Well, that was my take on it. He might be so used to having the news camera with the cross hairs that he doesn’t see it in the picture. It just sort of blends into the picture. Sounds plausible. I am not defending him, but it if was a very bad mistake and he is trying to rectify it as well as apologize, then, yeah...I would give him a pass too.
He quickly explained a logical reason as to the source of the pic and why it was taken after he realized how it looked to others. I’m sure working for the media you eventually forget/ignore the camera cross hair because you see it everyday.
As long as he dosen’t have a history of anti-Trump type tweets/stories I’m willing to give him a pass. He seemes really sincere about the mistake.
I wouldn’t let the media anywhere near the president without being strip searched, cavity searched and their equipment torn apart and inspected.
This is not subtle, i believe a direct threat.
Truth can be crude.
