Well, Tom Roussey came in early in the Scott Adams 24 hour time period for explanation. It reads humble enough. Should he be given a pass?

If you ask my opinion, and I’m pretty cynical, it reads sincere. As he’s local media and not the deranged national media, if his record backs up his statement I’d give him a pass.

He quickly explained a logical reason as to the source of the pic and why it was taken after he realized how it looked to others. I’m sure working for the media you eventually forget/ignore the camera cross hair because you see it everyday.

As long as he dosen’t have a history of anti-Trump type tweets/stories I’m willing to give him a pass. He seemes really sincere about the mistake.

No. He know what he was doing, and why he did it.

The rest of this year and throughout 2019 and 2020, the media. egged on by their master's , the Socialists, a/k/a, Democrat Party, will pull out all stops in sending subliminal messages to the fools, idiots, and their fellow travelers in reference to President Trump. In my opinion, he is in imminent danger and the danger increases each day.

Nope. I don't buy his 'apology.' He knew exactly what he was posting, and did it for giggles and grins with his fellow press pool buddies.

I'm sure an unexpected phone call from the Secret Service or FBI prompted his pulling of the tweet and issued apology.

“Should he be given a pass?”

No.

He either did it knowingly and with a big grin, or unknowing of how it would be taken by the left. Either way, he should be an immediate news outcast and investigated by the Secret Service.
