Remake Back to the Future where Marty is a confused transgendered teen and his only hope is to travel to 2018 where he would be free to live his life as he always dreamed it to be, wearing a dress. /s

Set the reboot in, say, 2020 (by the time it eventually gets produced) and go back to 1990.
I’d like to see it remade, but with an all women cast, and the McFlys an interracial lesbian couple, and Biff as a neo-Nazi homophobe. I hope they spend hundreds of millions of dollars creating and marketing it, only to have it flop miserably, bankrupting the studio.
Also, the car would have to be a Tesla electric car rather that a DeLorean gasoline, oops, NUCLEAR engine. (We are talking about granola eating, no fat soy latte sipping, tree hugging, socialist Holyweird, after all!)
All this talk about BTTF remake, what might be cool is a reboot of the old “Time Tunnel” TV show. When properly researched, it could bring some interesting historical events to light for the kiddos who get nothing but SJW pablum in the government mind camps known as public education these days.
Why remake a classic? It won’t compare to the original.
And remember how in Back to the Future, the bad guys coming after Doc were Libyans??? No way they could have such villains today.

I’m sure they would have someone be “gay”, and talk of how “gays” in the future will marry. Homosexual marriage would have been unimaginable back in the ‘50s.
1. Super heroic females
2. Asian and white guys who can’t handle anything technical
3. Black physicists, computer hackers, molecular biologists, neurosurgeons
4. Murderer will be a white businessman or priest. Or bizman/priest
5. Kids featured? They will act like adults. Adults will act child-like
6. 50% of characters are gay and/or make gay-friendly statements. The person unsure about the wonders of homosexuality will be shown as an idiot who falls down, breaks stuff, or is needlessly cruel

Remaking perfect movies is stupid. BTTF is still one of the best movies out there. It hasn’t aged a day.
Maybe they should remake all the crap movies they are making today minus the gratuitous sex and profanity.
Actually, the 2nd one was pretty good. But the 3rd one sucked. It was also when Fox found out he had Parkinson’s.
I skipped it altogether.
