Cleveland at Cincinnati 1:00 pm CBS Paul Brown StadiumThe surging Browns versus the fading Bengals. Bengals have huge problems on D which I expect the wunderkind Mayfield to take advantage of. Browns.
Seattle at Carolina 1:00 pm FOX Bank of America StadiumThree weeks ago the Panthers were surging too. Now two consecutive losses, beatdowns even, and the Panthers look confused. But a cross-country trip for the Seahawks with an early start time (for them) .... Panthers.
San Francisco at Tampa Bay 1:00 pm FOX Raymond James Stadium Gawd... how to pick this one?! Fitzpatrick /Winston or Winston / Fitzpatrick? Doesn't matter... Niners.
Oakland at Baltimore 1:00 pm CBS M&T Bank Stadium Ravens are still on their way to 8 - 8 whereas Oakland is on their way to the Number 1 pick in 2019. This is one of the Ws the Ravens get for that five hundred record. Ravens.
N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia 1:00 pm FOX Lincoln Financial FieldAs bad as the Eagles have been, I don't think they're bad enough to lose to the woebegone G-Men. Eagles.
New England at N.Y. Jets 1:00 pm CBS MetLife Stadium Todd Bowles coaching his last games for the Jets. Patriots.
Jacksonville at Buffalo 1:00 pm CBS New Era Field The Jags are going down as one of the biggest disappointments of the 2018 season. Bills.
Arizona at L.A. Chargers 4:05 pm FOX StubHub CenterThe Bolts managed to give one away last week. They won't make that mistake again versus Arizona. Chargers.
Miami at Indianapolis 4:25 pm CBS Lucas Oil Stadium Indy is on a run with a rejuvenated Andrew Luck. Colts.
Pittsburgh at Denver 4:25 pm CBS Broncos Stadium at Mile High The Steelers rallied to avoid an embarrassing loss to Jacksonville last week. That was their wake-up call. Steelers.
Green Bay at Minnesota 8:20 pm NBC U.S. Bank Stadium Two more disappointing teams. They tied first time they met. Minnesota is the more complete team. Vikings.

Tennessee at Houston 8:15 pm ESPN NRG Stadium Another exciting Monday night match-up. Bleh. Tennessee seems to be two different teams this season. The Texans have won seven in a row. Make that eight! Texans.
Good luck to everyone! Hope all your college teams won!
Youre here safe youre not out of it completely- just here on a football thread complaining about a game you dont even watch- like a little girl
All true.
But dude, they’re 45 or 50 guys that I don’t personally know and never will and never have.
We root for a team because of their physical proximity.
I submit you and me and all other die hard fands are losers with no lives that have to live through other men that are in far better shape, far more wealthy, far more successful and get a lot more babes than we do :)
so we are ALL losers, and your avid love of the game and your home team puts you at the top of the list with me :)
now go get your Vaseline for the upcoming games today :)
ciao :)
Pats over the Jets.
Because, you know...they are the Jets.
Do you want an answer?
1. He was in the last year of his contract.
2. He was going to be a free agent worth a ton, and the Pats could not afford to pay for two first string QBs. And Jimmy wanted to play.
3. They could not trade him, and get nothing in the end. Or, they trade him and get something out of itand everyone is happy.
The trade made perfect sense. It just was a shame to let him leavebut he was leaving anyway.
Missed the games on Thursday, no idea who won. Since my Chiefs are off I havent bothered to catch up.
I would have gone Bears, Redskins, Saints.
For Today.
Jags
Bengals
Ravens
Pats
Eagles
Bucs
Seahawks
Chargers
Steelers
Colts
Vikings
Texans
Commenting on something I posted Thursday? Try to keep up jerk. And I really don’t give a damn what you think.
Patriots should have traded Jimmy G sooner.
They kept trying to negotiate with him until the end. By the time they traded him they got less value than they would have if they had traded him earlier.
Jimmy G was asking for over $20 million a year. They could not pay that. He got a huge payday in SF.
Jimmy G is fragile. He got injured early this year. Expect a lot of future injuries.
Brady is tough. Three years ago he took more hits than any other NFL QB. Played every game.
How about those old guy QBs:
Brady, Brees, and oh by the way, Phillip Rivers is 25-25, the longest consecutive completion streak in one game.

Let us remember it was the Lone Tennessee Volunteer that made history at the Alamo...
this week is better for me.
t
Pete's cunning strategy again is a give an take. He scores in Denver but fumbles picking against the Pats.
No one under .500 this week (other than No One)
As per usual feel free to post Thursday (Saints at Cowboys) or all picks here until I get the new thread up.

Going wid Saints on Thorsday
Snow. Ice. Cold.
Any lock de-icing tips?
Wind knocked over a bucket of tar my uncle didn’t secure. Tar all over the new porch. Ugh.
I am moving to the equator.
Saints over Bendys boys
