This cheap gas thing must be pretty isolated;maybe regional. Our prices here have dropped a little but not that much. They are up & down quite a bit anyway.

I noticed yesterday it is $2.12 at Walmart in NW Arkansas. It was hovering around $2.49 a couple of months ago.
Just checked gasbuddy.com and the range is $2.06 to $2.21.

What if somebody breaks into the market with a better gasoline fuel that is at least a dollar cheaper and gets over 40% more miles to the gallon?
Mid-grade gas here was CDN $1.45/litre yesterday. That translates to US $4.19/Us gallon.
Today in Lexington, KY, gas prices range from $2.05 to $2.29 a gallon, depending on where you fill up.
