I love this, there is so much to this one tweet. No more catch-and-release, no more getting a free run around in our country being a criminal, hopefully it is detain and then Deport.

And I’m so grateful to have a president that points out how illogical it is for someone to ask Asylum from some horrible country they are from while carrying the flag of it. It makes no sense. Obviously, they don’t need Asylum. Wanting our free hand jobs is not a reason to get Asylum.

And then he points out that he’s working with the Democrats. Everything is in their Court. The Republicans didn’t do a damn thing for him in the two years they had. So now he’s going to give the Dems a shot. And if they won’t do it, they can lose some House Seats and two years as well.

It sound like you are doing the right things to cut the URI at the start. Do you diffuse oil? or mix a few drops and rub in in with vicks? I am a sworn believer in it.

FOr 6 months I have been fighting a URI. Had pneumonia and bronchitis finally take its toll during the time frame of cold wet living in van. Had 3 different antibiotic scripts. The whole time I was doing oils (and now diffusing in hotel) . I still have a slightly cream colored head discharge. I am convinced w/o the oils I would probably be dead. Several of them are heavy duty anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral.

I am certain my immune system is shot. started 3 years ago w/shingles and the time frame of other health issues and both of my dogs dying in short time frame . Stress impairs your immune system Mine got hit big time

RE: cornbread casserole. It is so much fun to experiment. Don’t be afraid to try things. My recipe is NOT CORNBREAD. It is a veggie side of sorts. For those afraid of fat, “too rich”.. maybe you should just do steamed green beans, baked potatoes and other safe things. We each have to research and be content that our menu and ingredient choices are consistent with our beliefs on health, nutrition and harmful foods.

I have found personally a lot of the “scare tactics” with food are more fake news and based on picking and choosing which data one uses. IMHO the artivfical and low fats “healthy” products are anything but. Their problems far surpass any potential health issues associated with butter, etc.

I don’t believe any of us will significantly lengthen or shorten our lives with food items. The key word is significantly. If you eat a pound of butter a day (or equivalent with cream cheese, cheeses, sour cream) you are possibly going to have problems. moderation is the key. Having at holidays one or two side dishes that are “fun” and rich seems to be not an extravagant or unhealthy thing.

Hope you feel better hon. The turmeric is wonderful. I have powder I cook with and also take daily capsules.

Didn’t go out anywhere yesterday. Today was a central Ohio Jazz festival I had thought I would like to attend. I know the folk in all three participating bands. about 2 hour drive. Weather forecast was for ice/rain/snow and so I decided “no”

glad I didn’t go to Columbus although I would have thoroughly enjoyed the music & seeing the people.

Today another new church early and In AM ran errands in Sagamore/Macedonia to Marc’s PetSmart Walmart. On way to and from had short Lucy run. (she ran & I drove.. lazy gals dog walk). Slept most of afternoon.

Going to make up another sandwich and read. Funny I have 6 movies sitting on other bed and am ignoring them for the books. Now reading Mary Higgins Clark. Read some of her a few years ago. Taking a break from the heavier Flynn , Clancy type books

OK.. I am probably the only one here who has never seen a hallmark movie. Don’t think I ever had the hallmark channel and don’t think they have it here at hotel.. The last time the TV was on here was for election results. I had it up volume wise to highest setting and still struggled to hear. Had on Closed caption which of course helped

Taking a break here, grandson coming over, going to pick apples at neighbors, he sent over some beautiful oranges the other day. He is 91 years old and grows everything in this desert.
Peaches, apples, apricots, lemons, oranges and figs. Man has a green thumb and he has beautiful roses.

Yes...I’ve also been defusing my Breathe Easy EO blend.

I thought of you, earlier, dear Dolly. Opted for an Epson Salts bath with lavender. Hot, hot as I could stand it, over taking a shower. Wonderful!

Then slathered my feet w more Vicks and put on an old pair of socks and comfy clothes.

Glad you and Lucy got the errands ran....and Lucy ran :-)
