Bennett on Trump-Chief Justice Spat: ‘A Fight John Roberts Didn’t Want to Pick’
“So this is a fight that John Roberts, I think, didn’t want to pick,” Bennett said. “By the way, when he talks about the independence of the judiciary, I wonder if he tapped Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the wrist when she was criticizing candidate Trump and saying he was a fake and a phony, because that’s not really above the fray, is it?”
I like that guy. I keep thinking about trying his pillow but haven’t yet.
Me too
Since we went out to eat for Thanksgiving with daughter, her husband and in-laws, hubby and I are having our Thanksgiving dinner today. Potatoes are peeled and in water, pumpkin pie is in the oven, dressing will soon go in the oven and cabbage salad will soon be made. Hubby has the turkey in the smoker.
We have two and love them.
Mrs. exit82 takes hers with her when we travel.
I have to have a pillow that’s kinda flat, or gives in while still supporting. Is “my pillow” real fluffy?
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2018/11/23/merkel-eu-hand-sovereignty-brussels/
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that European Union (EU) member states must be prepared to transfer powers over to Brussels at a debate on the tensions between globalisation and national sovereignty.
Nation states must today be prepared to give up their sovereignty, Merkel said, speaking at an event organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin on Wednesday.
In an orderly fashion of course, Merkel said, explaining that while Germany had given up some of its sovereignty in order to join the EU, national parliaments were in charge of deciding whether to sign up to international treaties.
****************************************************
Merkel condemned the fact that, in discussions over whether Germany should join a fast-growing number of nations pulling out of the agreement, there were [politicians] who believed that they could decide when these agreements are no longer valid because they are representing The People.

Thank you!
I wonder when Google put out that definition of “nationalism”?

Mr. b once spent 20 minutes cooking scrambled eggs and they were still raw.
Easy fried eggs - Crack an egg and put it in a hot buttered skillet. Let it cook a bit to almost set. Cover with a lid a minute or so to make the heat cook the top side of the egg. No worries about trying to flip it and breaking the yolk.
They’re on vacay when they should be rushing to get as much approved and passed before the demonrats take over the purse strings. Yes, they should have done it Jan. 2018 but there’s too many lazy RINOs working against America.
You for you coming home making dishes you want. We do the same.
