A ray of sunshine:

https://nypost.com/2018/11/17/senate-gop-is-pushing-through-trumps-judicial-nominees/amp/

“With 84 of his judges already confirmed — 29 of them at the appellate level, a record number for the first two years of a presidential administration — Trump appointees make up one-sixth of the active judges on the federal bench.”

I hope the discovery and eventual recovery of the Argentine submarine San Juan brings needed closure to the wonderful families of those brave missing sailors. I look forward to hearing more from my friend President @MauricioMacri in Argentina later this month.

A lovely reminder of a kinder and gentler time, even in a world at war!

No doubt the Snowflakes and Feminists will demand its outlawing for being hateful and triggering!

I just adore your wacky sense of humor, pax!

So LG has many many hidden talents that she doesn’t even tell us about. She’s quite the mystery lady.

It’s gonna be a real bitch for all those leftists and snowflakes as they come tumbling down, past us on the ladder. In the words of the character in “Network”, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it, anymore!”

oh You poor thing. I understand about little things hurting, like a light switch. For me it is closing cabinets. Just kitchen cabinets that you barely have to touch and then I get a sharp stabbing pain.

What you described, doing an activity and not even knowing it was hurting, describes my life. Tendinitis and tendinosis are so insidious. My new rule of thumb is I do some activity and then I wait 2 to 3 hours to see if it hurts. I never know at the time that I am overdoing it.

If your hubby is willing, have him peel those potatoes! That’s a lot and nothing is worth being in pain.

Is your pain on the wrist on the top part of it, in line where the index finger is, or on the side where the thumb is? I’ve had both of those, the one on the top is called intersection syndrome and that one on the side is deQuervains . But the treatment would be similar, minimal use of the hand. But for intersection syndrome you want to watch using that index finger and the thumb, deQ is just the thumb.

It’ll be too late to get this in time, but I love this little gadget. I bought it originally for apples, and it works great on those as well as almost everything else. It also works good to spiralize zucchini too

It had been quiet. I thought it was pretty early for everybody to depart the train for the holiday. Glad to see people are coming on board again!

I’m glad you’re a lot better now! And I’m glad hubby is doing better. You’re in a pretty tricky situation, or he needs help but it hurts you to do it. I wish you could get some more home health people getting in there. That’s quite a dilemma as we get older. I’m hoping my husband doesn’t need my help with my arms. He’ll be in trouble!

Comparing Ivanka's vs. Hillary's email use is patently absurd. Ivanka made no attempt to hide or delete anything. There was no private server. No emails had been subpoenaed. There was no top secret information shared - it was merely scheduling - yawn. Ivanka isn't SOS.

Busy busy. Got the fireplace decorated. Still finishing up the tree Next will be the window. My country version of “village”. It’s a memorial to my aunt and uncle who were more like grandparents to me. We visited their farm annually — a house with two front doors, green barn, Church on corner ,and the Amish horse & sleigh Such great memories. (Including the outhouse)
