Thermometers show the US cooling since about 1920, but NOAA massively cools the past to create the appearance of a warming trend. These adjustments make a spectacular hockey stick of data tampering. The entire premise of “climate change” being some looming disaster is completely undermined by the overtly political “solutions” put forth for it, that exclude certain nations who are major offenders by their book, and punish others that are not, by their book. It’s further undermined by the ridiculous rent-seeking of so-called “carbon credits” that do not one thing about carbon emissions but do put money into the hands of the political class. If it’s so bad that we’re all going to drown if nothing is done, then China is the source of manmade climate change today, yet nothing is proposed for them. The draconian measures only affect the west, the US, Western Europe, etcetera. So, it’s purely political, it’s readily transparent, it’s a crock of an attempt to yet again disguise wealth transfer from producers to takers. Anyone who is not blinkered by being a Democrat who bothers to even do a cursory amount of research into the matter discovers this.
