Youre not the center of the universe. In fact, no one really cares about you. Its harsh, but true. Sure, you have family and a few great friends. They will take particular interest in various parts of your life, helping you when needed. But they dont care about you nearly as much as you care about yourself. Ultimately, youre not top of mind to anyone but yourself. When properly understood, this is incredibly freeing and valuable.

I’m just a singer
In a RocknRoll Band!
Short and sweet. Good advice.
(Snowflakes will flee for their safe space.)
God, closer to your real self than the marrow of your bones, loves you far more than you love yourself. His voice is like a burning furnace.
The punk band Fear had a wonderful song “I don’t care about you” — a very in-your-face punk song featuring repeated use of a well-known two word phrase which I won’t type here.

".... I'm just a singer in a Rock n' Roll Band!..."
One of my favorites by the Moody Blues.
Great Tunes,,,
I have followed them faithfully for 50+ years. Saw them live in concert for the first time two years ago in Las Vegas on their 50th anniversary tour.
Best rock n' roll band ever, despite only getting the nod for the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame this year.
They are one of the few, if only, rock n' roll band where you can understand the lyrics to the songs. It's not a bunch of screeching and screaming like other bands.
I have a greatest hits CD in my truck's player. It won't eject.
So for the past decade, it's all I have ever listened to in the car.
I know the words to every song and sing them at the top of my lungs when traveling.
My all-time favorite band. Thanks for making my day.
They have a DVD that Rocks,,,
Old Guys Rule!
You would worry less about what others think of you if you only realized how little they do.
