Women who fall over with a heart attack may be left unaided as men are too afraid to give CPR in case they are accused of sexual assault.
Researchers from the University of Colorado surveyed people on their attitudes in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
Interviewees said (among other things) that they feared being accused of inappropriate touching or sexual assault, the researchers found.
Men were twice as likely to cite this fear as a reason for not administering CPR, the researchers found.

Never enter an elevator, break room, copy room or any other unobserved space occupied by a solitary woman.
Furthermore, women will be losing their ability to rise professionally where social interaction with workforce peers is common.
*They will not be invited to lunches or for cocktails after work.
*At offsite seminars, or conferences they will not be openly accepted to mingle at after session functions. They may show up but a buffer zone will be instinctively created.
*If they do manage to get hired, their annual performance reviews will no longer be private and confidential if their superior is male.
Forget opening doors offering a seat, helping with awkward loads, assisting someone who stumbles or any other overt action which can be interpreted as sexist.
The new feminism basicly demands that women be ignored at all costs.
No one, and I mean no one is going to confuse proper cpr with sexual assault... hearing a persons bones and sternum cracking while you chest compress is not sexual at all...
But as poorly educated as people are today, some bitter will likely try to claim it.
Damned right. Professional tone and subject matter only, and NEVER be alone with a woman who’s not your wife or other family member.
Behold the new reality.
There are also laws against crossing the border into the US without proper paperwork. How's that working out?
Most likely just repeating what the AHA told her . . .
It must be why in our nice neighborhood people barely speak, and hide in their homes....and NEVER talk politics. Yes, this is commie Oregon.
Actually, wouldn’t it be ALL people afraid to help women?
I mean, we’ve normalized both homos and trannies so much, that surely a woman could be accused of molestation as well!
no rescue breathing for people untrained in conventional CPR.
I was in a conversation with a couple guys, one whom I didn’t really know.
I said that I kind of believed that since they even train how to do hands only CPR on the radio, the CPR training courses were mainly a money making venture for Red Cross.
This guy then said that he’s been a Paramedic for 20 years. (My first thought-Open mouth, insert foot, chew vigorously)
His next sentence was how he agreed with me.
A brassiere restricts the chest, and thus could restrict the effectiveness of CPR.
Indeed stupidity always comes with a price.
“Men are now afraid to give women CPR in case theyre accused of sexual assault”
One of the reasons ingenious men invented sex robots.
Especially if you plan to be on the Supreme Court.
Keep me abreast if there are any other things I can’t do...
If you are alone I would reccomend Hands Only.
If you have trained help then breaths or better yet a bag valve with O2 until defib.
Chances of saving someone who has had a heart attack is very low even if you're trained.
At this moment, it is only white males who are on the policial enemies list. You get some allowance if you are a leftist girly man, but even that didn’t help Al Franken, did it?
Civilization is only possible in a high-trust society. Take away the ability for a man to even touch a woman, and THIS is what you get. These women will die, unless another woman gives them CPR. And even that may generate lawsuits. This country is doing down the toilet, along with the rest of Western Civilization. Best to find yourself a little place in the hills to wait out the inevitable collapse.
The instructor was an EMS first responder and he basically instructed us in the same CPR techniques as their professional training. Ignore modesty, rip a buttoned shirt open and if the top doesn't rip then cut it off as an alternative and a last resort is to jerk the top up. You have to see and feel the chest for proper hand placement or in the case of a young child, proper finger placement.
Our offices were equipped with a portable defibrillator that hung on the wall in a charger cradle next to a fire extinguisher. It was an amazingly simple lifesaver. Off comes all the upper clothing by ripping open or cutting. This includes cutting the bra off and ripping off necklace and nipple jewelry. Regarding the nipple rings, that is what a plastic surgeon is for. There can be no metal on the chest as there is a high risk of severe burns from an electrical arc. A picture on the interior lid of the defib shows where to place the electrodes. You press the start button and a computer takes over. It first determines yes/no if defib is required and if so begins zapping as needed. If the heart starts it stops zapping. In practice, you can probable have the defib started within 1 minute, Doing all these steps is that fast.
Another thing we did every year was hands on fire extinguisher training with a live fire. For the yearly fire extinguisher inspection, the servicing company would drop off loaners while ours went back to their shop for servicing. Instead of simpling having the extinguishers immediately hauled, we scheduled the fire department to conduct a training in the parking lot. A couple of firemen would setup a metal pan, add a bit of diesel then fire it up. They would demonstrate extinguisher use then guide each of us individually proper technique putting out the fire.
And leave the alcohol out of it especially at office parties etc
