In a word..."mixed". There was alot of US House "dead" GOPe Wood cleared out last night chief among it was "Speaker" Ryan and his ilk. Let face it the loss of the House really SUX, BUT we HAVE to get to work NOW on the 2020 Election! Get REALLY good solid candidates recruited NOW. The Dems WILL overplay their hands(they ALWAYS do) and they WILL be dumped in 2020! Silver lining, WE OWN the Senate!

It's comical, for example, to see posts from Freepers who actually believe a Trump-like nationalist could win in a place like New Jersey. It ain't gonna happen, folks. Trump lost New Jersey by a wide margin!! Who gives a shit about NJ? F that. We need to consolidate REAL America and write of paces like NJ, a failed mafia state.

I came across this from CNN last night.
https://www.cnn.com/2017/11/10/politics/house-retirement-tracker/index.html
It shows how many people in the House Of Reps, retired, quit, or moved on to other jobs.
24 Reps and 9 Dems retired.
7 Reps and 2 Dems resigned.
13 Reps and 9 Dems ran for another office.
That’s 44 Reps and 20 Dems, who were incumbents, who left their seats.
If you subtract the 20 Dems from 44 Reps, that’s leaves 24 more Rep seats that were left open.
Granted, maybe some of these were adequately filled by an alternate and held. But 17 of these seats were vacated since the beginning of this year, when their Dem opponents were already gearing up.
I could spend the time and look up each seat and how it went, but I really don’t feel like putting in the energy.
(At least not right now)
But look at the numbers,
24 more Reps than Dems, left their seats open.
17 Reps announced their leaving since the beginning of the year.
Compare 24 or 17, at face value, to the number of seats the Dems picked up, and this wasn’t any real blue wave, this was a surrender or hand over.

You’re funny. Your Senate votes to convict equal exactly 50 if they can even get that. How will Trump be removed like that?

We (by “we” I mean Gutless Paul Ryan) lost the House, they didn’t win it.

I’d start up articles of impeachment against every judge in rebellion against the Constitution, and those exact words would be in them.
Too bad my social media needs the Blah-see Ford treatment.

I fear that what we are seeing in the house is indicative of a culture war, rather than a reflection of Americans who want to work toward a healthier (both figuratively and literally) nation. Without discussing the effects of Hollywood and the ruthless quest for power by any means, the insanities dreamed up, mostly in academia, which affect our young are having a disastrous effect on the country. The campaigns which encouraged tribalism, touting our immutable differences, especially regarding regarding our race and gender has divided us as almost nothing else can. Angry feminists, who promote abortion, have had their effect on young women who do not yet know what they think because they have little of life's experience. Population does ultimately rule and the suburban populations will become more and more powerful with immigration. Rural areas will become less powerful unless very attractive candidates can be found there. Read Tucker Carlson's new book, “Ship of Fools,” especially the last half. He covers the problems which are inherent and destructive in the far left. Feminists do not want to win power, they want to take it from men, especially white men and the young think they want socialism, which they obviously know nothing about, not having been taught through their educations about Venezuela and Cuba, Stalin and Hitler. Their votes last night, evidently, were important in flipping the House to the far left. And, so we march on, having little faith that we can find any common ground when only raw power to rule is the goal, and when our laws, both God's and man's do not apply. I pray for changed hearts which would require miracles. It could happen, though, and that keeps me going.

Unlike most Freepers, I don't hold the GOP accountable for any "failure" on health care. It's an intractable problem with solutions that will never work, and any attempt to "fix" the problem only makes those who attempt it look like fools.
Go back and remember Donald Trump's campaign theme for health care in 2016: "You'll get better health care, and it will cost less!"
That's about as empty a campaign promise as I've ever heard in my life, but it was effective because people were dumb enough to believe him. That's like me running for public office with a promise that people will be able to live in Trump Tower for $500/month.

Two things lost house seats.
1. The winners had far more money due to billionaire intervention.
2. The gop-e with ryan encouraged vacancies so the house would be lost. That was intentional sabotage.

And keep in mind that there were something like 25 or more GOP House seats in districts that Hillary Clinton won in 2016. I’d be surprised if any of them stayed in GOP hands after yesterday.

We lost 27 seats. Okay, big deal, lets see what we can do to reverse WHY we lost. According to the reports Healthcare was the number one issue. We need to discuss free market policies on healthcare, and other issues on the minds of voters. Time to get to work...
