If you live in Ohio and you're currently struggling with a bed bug issue, you're not alone.
Exterminators say the state is experiencing an “epidemic” of the parasite, especially in northeastern cities.
Dale Pluck, an exterminator and owner of Dale’s Pest Control, told Cleveland 19 News he's noticed a rise in cases involving the blood-suckers in Lorain, Sandusky and West Cleveland.
“They’re everywhere,” he said. “Stores have them. Doctors offices have them. You can almost pick them up anywhere.”
Wayne Minor, who works for Dale’s Pest Control as an exterminator, told the news station bed bugs are also a problem in schools.
"A lot of kids [are] bringing home bed bugs in their backpacks," he said.
Columbus, the Cleveland-Akron-Canton metro area and Dayton are some of the worst cities for bed bugs

Absolutely correct statement. One of my in-laws had tuberculosis he brought up here from Mexico from working in an unsanitary dairy operation. The government lies about it and covers it up and we pay the price. Lies, lies, lies. Constantly.

All the decades we did not have to worry about bed bugs. Now influx of people from $h!thole counties and bedbugs are back on page 1 with no DDT to control it.

Think of all the regulatory obstacles associated with bringing a pet or other animal into the us from abroad.
For some reason, allowing 10’s of thousands of people unimpeded and wholesale access to the US is OK, but not an animals.....??

Or, try bringing in a bag of oranges in from anywhere else in the world to any US International airport. They are more concerned about the Florida and California citrus crop than they are about your child being expose to bubonic plague.
Remember the scene in Godfather II when poor little Vito Corleone was held in a isolation cell at Ellis Island because he had TB or some or infectious disease. We are literally killing ourselves with political correctness.
Thanks for the heads up on the bedugs/ohio issue. WE had occasional issues at the hotel I worked at. Of course this mortified the owner/manager and we were all to keep it quiet.
Nothing can kill a hotel quicker than bedbugs
I live less than 2 hrs. from that area and have yet to see one. Just sayin’.
