This Speedy Max Texaco quick stop in Elgin, Texas has allowed someone to put a very large "Beto" sign in front of it's store. Not sure that is good idea. Why would you want to alienate a LOT of your customers in Texas with that?

Another example of Leftie illogical thinking. It’s only logical that this would offend many of the customers. Emotion overrides common sense again.

Just tax them of 100% of their proceeds. It is only fair.

Put it OVER half of their sign and they’d be the BETOMAX, which was a loser.

I urge some caution because that sign is placed fairly far from the footprint of the gas station. That sign may be on public property or on another private property.
I totally agree that any business owner doing that in Texas is risking losing customers unless they are willing to discount their gas.

Sure looks like it’s on the gas station’s property in the picture.
Gas is a lot cheaper there too.

I guess there is a big swamp in Texas that needs to be drained, too. I always like to know who I am doing business with when I can. . . . that station would be a “no go” for me!

I own retail real estate
Ive allowed signs ...big ones...for candidates I like....Trump and Mitt and Queeg the last two being just practical choices...and in a city proper that is 70% democrat
Its cost me very little I could tell if any and if it did it doesnt last unless you go nutz
Sometimes you gotta take a stand
That may be the owners view
Id imagine he knows the risk

A lot of businesses allow all candidates to put up signs to be nom-partisan. However, I am betting it is on the right-of-way, not station property give the business sign location

This place has Middle Easterners working at the counter. Also, can’t the business take the sign down if it wishes to?
