I had a black widow in my workshop for a few weeks. She had a little hidey-hole right above the workbench. Beautiful creature. Didn’t bother me and I didn’t bother her. Amazing how many supposed ‘men’ are scared of spiders; dudes that could probably bench more than me and/or kick my ass freaking out like little girls over a creature that only wants to eat mosquitoes and flies... Pussies.
How would Vincent Price have reacted to this?.....

You really have to hate and have a fear of spiders - especially Black Widows - to go to that extreme. I hate them but don’t have a blowtorch....

Great Flaming Wolf Spiders!
Those Blue/black wasps eat outdoor black widows as their preferred food target.
I recently came home for being out of town for a while and at the edge of a garage door, a large black widow had built up a target at a small entry crack and had grown to be the largest I have ever seen in the Southwest.
Would that work on Honduran invading hordes, too?
