DES MOINES — Kamala Harris swears she’s “not bullshitting” when she says she’s squarely focused on the midterm elections.
But even before she arrived here Monday, there were signs of the California senator’s heightening preparation for a 2020 presidential run. In recent days, an adviser told POLITICO, Harris sent $25,000 to the Democratic parties in all four early nominating states: Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada and New Hampshire.
Then Harris crossed into this first-in-the-nation caucus state for the first time this year, stumping for Iowa Democrats and previewing the contours of her own likely campaign.
“We need to have a better vision for this country,” Harris told about 200 activists inside a community college auditorium in suburban Des Moines, railing against Republican economic policies that she said have hurt working Americans.
Framing an alternative — as she did in Wisconsin over the weekend — Harris touted a $6,000 tax break that she proposed last week for families earning up to $100,000 annually, a ready-made message for her effort to connect with Democrats in the Midwest.
“This is the moment in time that is requiring us to fight for the best of who we are,” Harris said Monday. “And the stakes are high. I don’t have to tell you what’s happening here in Iowa, where they’re privatizing Medicare, where we know that just in a very short period of time, people’s premiums are going to go up at least threefold.”
She said, “We are better than this.”

I have been leaving Posts for months now, not to underestimate Harris. She is an Evil, Manipulative person. Republicans should be aware of her now and start to expose who she really is. If she is able to garner the Democrat CA delegation to their convention, she will be the favorite for the Nomination.

I have had a problem with profanity in my life, and have spent much of my life actively combating it because, even though I was a sailor and took perverse and unwarranted pride in my profane eloquence as a young man, I grew to recognize that the unrestricted use of it was unflattering to me and counterproductive to any point I made.
It was a form of laziness, trying to use it to inject emotion into an issue when no emotion needed adding if the issue was correctly portrayed in clean English.
I don’t mind at all if people use it occasionally, but it seems like Leftists are incapable of expressing themselves in “clean English” and depend on profanity at all times to express the importance or gravity of a situation.
Has she bothered to note that she is not constitutionally eligible?

She was born in the United States which makes her a “Natural Born Citizen”. That’s more than Obama and he survived for 8 years. I wouldn’t bet any money on her Eligibility being a disqualifying issue.

LOL. I don’t think he’d go there, though. Who knows? If she complains, he could say “WHAT? Are you ASHAMED of being brown?”.
It is a way of saying "hustle"...focus on the issue at hand and quit talking and acting like a school marm or a preacher.
Cussing can also be used by creative thinkers to break through the thick, syrupy influence of existing ways of thinking and paradigms.
In other words, cussing, when done for the right reasons, is like an ice breaker.;-)
