Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.
During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.
"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

I would be too. I think youll probably be nervous for a while now and probably looking out in the yard a lot. Im glad he didnt get a hold of those things!
Thank you MsB. It has been very wearing, I just dont handle chronic pain well and I admire those who can do it gracefully. I actually use the term suicide pain today him describing it because the PT just dont seem to understand. He kept using the term sore, like thats all it was. He didnt understand they after day of unrelenting pain just makes you not want to live anymore. I guess it comes from being around 30 :-) just hasnt experienced life yet.
Having a great day. Left work to watch 1 of my 2 kids who have baseball games today & then Dodgers in WS tonight. FR in between.
You get better.
Did you or hubby file a report?
More good news!
Beautiful NIKK, you are quite the artist.
But nothing compared to my stick men.
Praying the third one helps.
OMGosh, no I won’t worry as you had it under control but you might need a weapon as backup if he comes back.
Sounds like one of those opportunist who take advantage when disaster strikes.
He might have got a tail of buckshot if he had refused to leave our yard.
And hubby wouldn’t have been nice enough to show his badge.
Oh I sure hope that 3rd times the charm. Does anyone know what the heck they are doing?
Just got back from lunch with Bubba and some of the youth from church, said to give you this ((HUG!))
Ran some errands and now am really behind on my getting ready to leave.
At least the electricity came on while we were gone.
Need to go visit neighbor for s few minutes too as she is going back to Tucson in the morning, hopes to be back in a couple of weeks when her therapy is over, hope she does, I miss her and our walks.
My oldest sister loves, loves, loves ME.
Her home is like walking into an ME fantasy.
So cute and homey.
Sorry you are still under the weather, Nap is good!
Saw George Strait in concert once.
Good voice but very boring, just stands there for an 1 1/2 hours..
I wouldn’t mind looking at him that long. He’s handsome. LOL
Army and National guard troops are staging at the Millington, TN Naval base, right now, with orders to the border.
Thank you, I think between this therapist and your nutritious breakfasts, I will be just fine!
Hubby will file as soon as he gets the water pump going. First things first. When he and the handyman were going to buy a water pump, they saw him once on our road and a second time in town. I just told hubby he’s buying me a new garage door tomorrow and he promptly agreed.
Neighbors had a conflab in the middle of the road earlier so word is out and the little freak won’t be getting by with much. He was run out of another yard yesterday! One lady is still driving around just in case. We think we know where he lives and it’s nearby so not good.
To think it wasn’t long ago no one locked their doors. These days, too many strangers coming around. Now, we lock our doors and have guns. After today, even more so.
