Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

Did any other president make such determined mid-term campaign swings? I know both President Johnsons did quite a bit of in 1866 and 1966 but failed to meet their expectations. Mr. Nixon toured some too in 1970, but Edmund S. Muskie framed the majority in his famous election-eve appearance.

Baldwin has been a loose cannon for quite some time, way before Trump became President, so I disagree with it being TDS.

Remember how he talked to his young daughter on the phone, called her a “pig” I believe.

His ex-wife has plenty of horror stories going way back.

Thanks. I like the format where the candidates ask each other questions instead of the media.

From what I can read here this was done back in June....

Has anything come of it?

Or did it just go into the trash can?

And Aunty Maxine has gone on to ratchet it up more.

Trump, tho definitely rough around the edges, is doing the Lord’s work, I have no doubt of that.

Democrats gained ground against the Constitution because we have had milquetoast Republican presidents, and for the most part senators and congressmen as well.

President Trump succeeds where they were dismal failures because he doesn't lay down for democrats or worry if they will like him or not.

He is a natural born scrapper and street fighter who rocks them back because he takes the fight to them.

He takes the initiative. He keeps them reacting instead of acting and setting the agenda as they have been accustomed to doing.

There is no denying that this is the Trump Era, he has put his brand on it and he sets the national agenda.

And we thank the Almighty for sending him before all was lost!

I don’t think anything happened to it.

After all, who is in charge of the House—one Paul Ryan.

Who never addressed the issue, and only found his voice last week when he said Trump could NOT use an EO to uphold the law, and the plain meaning of the 14th Amendment.

I sincerely hope “The Pain” begins Wednesday morning, LG.

All over the place.

It is time.

"....looking for my glasses."

One time I spent weeks looking for my husbands glasses. Finally gave it up to the Lord. Not long after that when my husband went to recline in his lift chair I spotted his glasses in the cloth between his chair and the foot rest. So now every time we can't find them that is the first place I look.

Those embarrassing tech hearings showed the heads of the anti-conservative social media giants that they had nothing to fear from Congress. On the other hand, the failure of the Republicans to even make a valid point in those hearings may have contributed to the successful BlaseyFord hearings. That was the first time that I recall the Republicans having a coordinated plan to be effective. If they (R’s) had come out with each one saying the same attack questions to Ford, we might be heading towards a disaster of a midterm election

"How many remember back to 1988 when Donald Trump bought the assets of the Eastern Airline Shuttle and operated it as the Trump Shuttle?"

All I remember is we had some stock in Eastern Airline and took a big loss. :-(

I am concerned about this tweet. I read the entire article which included the letter that Congress got saying that she had lied. I think that the woman who just came forth is not the person who made the original false attack, but someone who published the letter that she copied from released testimony. The opening paragraphs of the article were misleading. Later in the comments some very logical people interpreted it differently.

I did not watch the original Kavanaugh hearings but it seems like the letter with graphic descriptions of the accuser being raped by K and another man in a car were read into the testimony and K had to answer questions about it under oath. Was this in the open hearing? Did any of you see it? The entire episode is beyond outrageous.

I DID watch it and do NOT recall that letter———I could be wrong, though.

When PDJT first told the story about lifting half of the huge pile of papers on his desk directly to the index card with Bobby Knight’s name and phone number, I thought that he made it up. Now, after almost two years in office, I can almost believe that his guardian angel directed him right to the card.

I don't care for those biased, moderated "debates" either.

I hope you are correct and the letter was not read publicly. I guess Kavanaugh did have to answer questions about it though. The person who wrote it should have to go to jail.
