Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

My biggest disappointment is GWB. He really fooled me.

The alternative in 2000 was Al Gore so it was a no-brainer to vote for 'Dubya'.

After the 9-11 attacks he had the greatest opportunity of any modern era president to end much of the leftist/globalist/PC craziness of the previous half century
and turn the nation back on a constitutional path.

In the immediate aftermath of the attacks there was hardly anything at all to do with security and protecting American sovereignty that he couldn't get approved
by congress, including a border fence, voter ID and limitations on immigration of America haters and other undesirables.

But he flubbed it and actually made things worse with the Patriot act, the war in Iraq and increased immigration from muslim countries, to name just a few

Haven't caught up yet but it seems you've got things under control and I love reading your post. I can visualize your morning through your words. Hope all goes well with Paul and please tell him I'm thinking about him.
I had to stop everything and go out and talk to our 88 year old neighbor who was out sweeping our street and street gutter areas that run into our storm sewer. She keeps them clean and free of leaves. I went out to talk and check up on her. She said she needed exercise and what better than sweeping. I didn't comment other than not to over do it.

I did turn FOX off and turned it back on a bit ago to see Trump talking to fake news reporters about shooting poor innocent “citizens” (did they say citizens!?!) in the caravan. Then here came Shep. Geez, he’s still saying all this Trump talk is lies. That we don’t have to fear them. That they’re a month away from the border.

Excuse me, Shep, they’re already here. O’Keefe’s video proved they’re in El Paso, TX and some have already gone to Missouri. A week or so ago, FOX showed them 500 miles from McAllen, TX so that’s at least two groups that have already crossed.

Blah, now obamy is on ranting about the GOP lying about obamacare. BARF. I thought we were done with him.
