This is EVERYTHING TRUMP.
Administration, family, frustrations, joys, winning!
We welcome your research, your commentary,
your personal OT sharing and your presence.

Lurkers are welcome.

Pres Trump shares East Room stage with Sergeant Major John L Canley, USMC (Ret.), recipient of today's Medal of Honor, for conspicuous valor under fire, coming to the aid of fellow Marines, in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

During the Tet Offensive in Vietnam, Sgt Major Canley "risked his own life to save the lives of those under his command," said Pres Trump, recounting Canley's bravery meriting the Medal of Honor.

"You don't look 80 years old to me," Pres tells Sgt Major Canley, commenting on the fitness of the retired Marine.

I really like the idea also. It’ll help give me a way to focus and use my pain for good. And not evil. Maybe I won’t be so mean to my husband. That took a weird tangent, what I really meant was by helping others some good can come out of this.

I use a tablet sitting on my lap and I dictate. So I hold down my arm used to a minimum. If my arms are really bad I don’t correct anything and then I sound like a raving idiot. But people here are kind, other than when I accidentally say naughty words. And then they just laugh. Anyway, if I sound incoherent when I post back to you, that will be why. Everything is pretty phonetic so if you look at it that way he can figure it out. Or if not just ask!

I think this be the start of something big!

I have a good dumpling recipe from my maternal grandmother and I also have an old-fashioned, simple noodle recipe from my paternal grandmother which she used when making chicken soup. It’s easy.

If you’re interested, I can send them to you. :-)

A book?!

That’s a great idea, gals!

(And, just between us, CottonBall, maybe it will help to keep MS.BEHAVIN out of trouble - at least temporarily!)

Well I had a lot of practice. I worked with raging liberals for a long time, and got along with most of them. I just figured out if you ask questions and throw in a few facts it might make them think. It didn’t work with a lot of them, because they don’t like facts and they really don’t like being put on the spot.

LOL, not a chance I’m afraid!

I’ll be editing the naughty bits out of the book, for sure!

Sorry to hear about your flu shot reaction and possible gout. Not sounding fun, at all :(

Not to be a party pooper, but, IIRC (from my DDad)....peanuts are bad for gout.

I hope whatever it is....goes away, soon.

Yes, we would be the perfect team!

It’s so enjoyable to have a relaxed, beautifully set dinner - and your cooking would be quite the replacement for Prego!

:-)

Why are ham hocks so expensive? They used to be dirt cheap, but not any more!

No worries, CB!
I can’t hear half the time and misunderstand things some times. LOL
What a team we will be!
I hope anyone who suffers from any kind of chronic pain will also contribute!
I think it might make you feel lots better to talk/ and exchange ideas with people who live it every day.

One thing I do that helps sometimes..in the dead of winter, I go to one of the most beautiful greenhouses in Yarmouth.
Everything is green, and there are little tinkling fountains in some of them,,just beautiful.
It reminds that Spring WILL come eventually!
It smells great, it’s soothing nd it does me a world of good!
Winters in Maine can be very brutal!

Thank you very much for the recipe, Publius!

What kind of dried beans do you use? Navy?

I use a mix of dried beans available in a large package at the supermarket. Navy is among the beans in the package.

Me, too! He had two warm-ups, including Miranda Lambert, before she hit the full-throttle stage. I’d say that by the time he came on-stage, most of the crowd was “feeling no pain.” He sounded great. I enjoyed every minute. So love his songs.
