We need to pick up lots of seats in the Senate, not just hold. This cycle is the best imaginable for Republicans in the Senate. Democrats are defending like 2/3 of the seats, and many of them are in Red states. The next two cycles will not be so favorable, and there will likely be losses from whatever the number is after 2018. If Republicans can get to 56 or more this cycle, they will be able to weather a few losses and still keep control.

I know there are theories about these two are POTUS plants. Hard to see it being worth potentially hurting FLOTUS...unless she was in on it. Personally, I lean more toward both of them being greedy opportunists. CPL is throwing everything out there for attention and to further his “career” if you can call it that. Love that a federal judge is ordering them to pay, though CPL claims to be mounting an appeal. ========================================================
Along this vein, unresolved Q posts/issues/personages, I am still puzzled by the barrel role pilot who allegedly crashed the stolen plane from Seattle/Tacoma airport (am I correct here?)on the island off Washington state.
Theories include that it was a feint to get investigators on the island to "dig" and search for underground bad things.
