Between July and September, the county identified nine cases of flea-borne typhus associated with downtown Los Angeles,
and six of those cases were in people experiencing homelessness, according to the county.
There are (now) 57 cases of flea-borne typhus in LA County, a health department spokesperson says.
Typhus fever has reached "epidemic levels" in Pasadena and an outbreak has hit downtown LA.
On Friday, one city in the county -- Pasadena -- reported epidemic levels of typhus fever.
This year, 20 Pasadena residents have been confirmed to have typhus fever,
up from the expected one to five cases per year, according to the Pasadena Public Health Department.

Instead, they ignore the reasonable regulations and layer on BS as a way to further their political agenda which isn't what regulations are intended to do. From zoning laws to sanitation, they've destroyed the major cities in this country and are now freaking out because outside of those cities the rest of the country doesn't want a thing to do with their abandonment of common sense.

Unreal the Leftist Policies of the Los Angeles and San Francisco are causing health problems most thought long solved. There are limits to what can be permitted and we see the Left does not really have a clue or care.
Not every bad thing can be blamed on illegals, despite the many problems they do cause. A lot of this is happening around the skid row area of L.A. and the population of of those homeless crosses all race boundaries. Right now my SIL is a foreman on a huge high rise complex two blocks away from skid row and he says that it's unbelievable how much drug use of all kinds is occurring out in the open all day long and that a large number of the people he sees have serious mental issues.
So really it's more like, Ah the benefits of the ACLU and liberals for first ensuring that all the mental institutions were closed, because we were violating the rights of the insane by keeping them safe and on their medications(yes there were abuses) and for now stirring up legal and public outcry if the police actually try to enforce the law and clean up areas. You have no idea what they pulled to try and stop Orange County from cleaning the vagrants out from the Santa Ana river bed along the 57 freeway.
Also the press loves to use the homeless moniker when most of the people are actually just vagrants that prefer to live the way they do so they aren't bothered by pesky little things like laws or morals.
