Who/What Turned It Around In Kavanaugh's Favor?
1. Brett Kavanaugh 2. Lindsey Graham 3. POTUS 4. Leland Keyser 5. Susan Collins 6. FBI Investigation 7. Michael Avenatti
The elevator screamers, who ended up not helping their cause at all.
I believe the turn around was a sequence of events and it took all of these events to get Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
1. Brett’s passionate response to the bogus accusations.
2. Lindsey Graham’s claiming his time from the prosecutor and calling the democrats for what they are...despicable liars.
3. After Graham’s response, the rest of the republicans on the committee got on board.
4. The FBI investigation was a necessity which allowed the committee to vote a favorable recommendation. This was played masterfully by Senator Grassley. The FBI investigation also provided information for Senator Collins to reach her decision.
5. POTUS speech was brilliant and necessary. It highlighted all of the holes in Ford’s testimony.
6. Senator McConnell...his speech opening debate was one of his best.
7. Senator Collins...her speech slammed the door shut on the democrats.

Kind of weird graham being the man of the Senate.
All those Republicans who outwardly demonstrated courage including, gulp, McConnell. This was a time those experienced politicians stepped up and held firm. We owe them a debt of gratitude. Now hope they keep it up because no doubt our great President paved the way showing what conviction with courage looks like.
